Parish Events Ministry

Please consider being part of this team that organizes receptions and parish functions throughout the year to build community. Meetings will take place when required.

Italian Seniors Group

A group of Italian seniors, who gather to play Bingo (Tombola) and share fellowship. They meet weekly in the chapel on Thursdays from 10:00am to 11:30am. All seniors of the parish are welcome.

Youth Ministry

EDGE Youth Group is designed to meet the needs of students in grades 6, 7, and 8. The group meets every 2^nd and 4^th Friday of the month from October to June. Adult volunteers assist in the running of the program. Training is provided.

LIFE TEEN Youth Group is designed to meet the needs of teens in grades 9 to 12. Adult volunteers assist with social, service and spiritual events. Training is provided. High School students are welcome to help for community service hours.

OLA Young Adults

Young adults from 19 to 39 are invited to gather and connect for programs, events and fellowship. Follow us on Twitter: @Airways_YA

Knights of Columbus

The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic organization for men. The Our Lady of the Airways Knights Council concentrates its efforts within the parish by sponsoring family activities, recreational events, charitable endeavors, and fundraising. All Catholic adult men, 18 years of age and older, are welcome to join.

Finance Council

This committee works closely with the Pastor to provide advice on the financial concerns of the parish. Members must have some experience in finance, property, legal and personnel administration. This ministry is by invitation from the Pastor. If you are interested, please contact the parish office for more information.

Volunteer Screening Committee

Committee members help the Pastor by screening all volunteers who serve in high risk ministries, according to the policies and procedures of the Archdiocese of Toronto and the Ontario Government. Training is provided.

Collection Counter

Collection counters work in teams to assist in the accurate counting of weekly and special collections for the parish. Counters must be able to maintain confidentiality and show discretion. If you are interested, please contact the parish office for more information.
