Spiritual Life and Faith Formation

 

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament

For the colder winter months, Eucharistic Adoration will be available from 9:30 - 11:30 am only. 

Please sign up on the form at the back of the church. Come and spend time in prayer and adoration before Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament.

On the First Friday of the month, we will celebrate Mass at 7 pm. There will be Holy Hour after mass.

Retreats and Reflections

Throughout the year, the parish hosts retreats and special events. All are welcome to attend.

OLA Charismatic Prayer Group

ON HOLD: The OLA Prayer Group meets weekly in the church on Mondays at 6:45pm to 8:00pm. They begin with the Chaplet of Divine Mercy, praise and worship, followed by Bible reflection. All are welcome to attend.

Padre Pio Prayer Group

Come and join us every third Tuesday of the month at 8:30 a.m. Mass is celebrated at  9 a.m., where we seek the Grace of Healing through the intercession of St. Padre Pio. All are welcome to attend.

Legion of Mary   

ON HOLD: The Legion of Mary is a lay apostolate association of Catholics, who serve the church through prayer and spiritual works in union with the Virgin Mary. Our association meets in the chapel on Saturdays from 9:00am to 10:30am for prayer and discussion. All are invited to join.  

Rosary Apostolate in the Schools 

Volunteers, who are devoted to the Blessed Virgin Mary, visit our Catholic elementary schools to pray the Rosary with children. Volunteers visit a school once a month for eight visits from October to May. Training and screening are provided.​

RCIA Initiation Team 

RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) is a Church program for adults who wish to become Catholic. Team volunteers share their faith and lives with those who are seeking to become Catholic. Training is provided.  

Sacramental Preparation

Volunteer catechists provide instructions for children, who are preparing for the Sacraments within our parish community. Training is provided.

First Communion catechists welcome and lead children in grade 2 or older, in presentations and discussions about the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion. The program consists of ten classes that run on Saturday mornings from January to April.

Confirmation catechists welcome and facilitate discussions for students in grade 7 or older, who are preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation. The program consists of seven monthly classes that run from November to May.
